About Coach Vlad

I'm Vlad Morozov, a three-time Olympian and former professional swimmer. My journey started in 1992, born in the cold of Siberia, but I've spent most of my life under the sunny skies of Los Angeles, USA. Over an 11-year career at the professional level, I was blessed with opportunities to travel the world, learning from the best athletes and coaches in swimming. Now, I'm passionate about giving back to the next generation of swimmers. My goal is to share the knowledge and experience I've gained, aiming to coach and inspire others just as I was inspired and guided by the incredible coaches and athletes I had the privilege to work with.

What sets my swimming career apart is that, standing at just 6 feet tall and weighing 180 pounds, I was able to compete successfully with sprinters who are typically over 6'4" and 200 pounds. This achievement was possible due to my technical proficiency and deep understanding of the "feel for the water." I excelled in all four strokes at a world-class level, breaking the World Record in the 100m Individual Medley, and consistently finishing within hundredths and tenths of a second from WR in 50s and 100s of each stroke.

I firmly believe that the feel for the water is a teachable skill, and I am dedicated to imparting this knowledge to the next generation of swimmers.
